Today at work (writting center) I talked to the another tutor, Rita, she was telling me about how she is hoping to get a summer job................ on a fishing boat in alaska! How cool is that, what a n adventurous spirit she must be, she is real artsy/bohemian so it figures she would have something interesting to do :)
In other news , I have bid on a tin of Prismacolored colored Pencils, they are ridiculously expensive in the stores but, they are supposed to be really really good. Soft saturated with pigment, and, thus, less likely to be tedious to use like normal colored pencils....I figured I had to find something better than that and markers/crayons which dont have quite as clean of an effect...

Nagareboshi Manga is one of my favorite sites for manga, they scan lesser known shojo manga that are not being translated and sold outside japan, and they translate it into English, I like it because the stories are cute shojo..... on that note, Manga fox and One manga are the best places to go to read manga....... Well, I wanted to blog, but I did not know what to blog about so I thought I'd blog a slideshow of my flickr favorites :) I didn't want to post it as one of the permanent elements (see side bar and bottom) because this blog already has so many photos. it would over-photo-ize my blog, a blog with writing and photos and then a slideshow of those same photos.....seemed repetative.
