So, I found out today that my hours at the college got slashed in half. from 19 to 10. :'( How sad. I need to calm down, so maybe no trip to Europe/world traveling until I get married, or come into money and find someone to stay with while I'm abroad. It would be dumb even it I still had 19 hours. When a trip costs almost half a years wages.....one should probably reconsider...........*sniff
.....However, there are other things to do, I hope to my hips enough on the recumbent bike to be able to get areal bike. And this country has a lot of good things to see here, so maybe a road trip to Colorado? Maybe purchase some travel video's.

Found a cool idea today...because I think it is worth a try and also because I think i may be sinking into the mindset of making art for money, recognition, etc....... and I dont think I want that... Anyways, it will be a lot of fun! ........ Note: It will not be knitting, it will be more like placing little art items in random public places.

confessions of a college graduate

Well here I am , post college and I have some thoughts on the matter. Finally I am in a place were I can pay my loan payments and whatnot and have extra money for stuff. I drive a used car so I don't have a car payment yet. I don't have rent to pay because I live at home, being that I am a girl that is probably safer and more excepted in this society anyways. Anyhow, So now what? I did go to college, got a degree in Art AND English.

My advice to kids going to college: Don't go into debt.....Don't fall for the expensive schools with big fancy names....go to a public university with minimum cost...... Because The school name often does not get you a job.....its more like the connections you have and the experience you have.

I think that I do not want to end up in corporate America.... I have three jobs right now and I enjoy them. I am not fast paced, I don't want to sit in front of data all day in an office or cubicle. For what? to have stuff and strive and have no free time.... and then you wake up and you're old, the end.

I like to be out and about, I like the thought of raising kids......I like my 3 part time jobs....I like the thought of going into animation and illustrating books on the side....I already try to sell art online.....

So now what....well, make more friends/meet people, enjoy myself, maybe one day I will go travel to another country...but honestly I would want to go with friends or my husband/boyfriend, and it would be pretty expensive so I will save up gradually for that.

I think i should enjoy my life here more than working my but off so that one day I can spend one week running through a bunch of cities only to find i didn't really get the full experience of the country..... I think it would be fun but it would be over very quickly and turn into pictures on a camera, etc. I'm actually more excited about it than I sound but realistically it is just a great trip.

I love hanging out doing nothing with my girlfriends, I love playing and illustrating books and doing animations. I like stuffed animals, real animals, movies, nature and nice weather.
